School of Applied Technology (aka </salt>) has been around since 2018, where we make dreams come true for hobby coders who want to become professional developers. One of the key success factors we have seen is to have instructors with current-, rich- and deep knowledge in their field.

At SALT, we turn passion into profession! We are now looking for our next Head Instructor for our Full Stack Java Career Program, where you will influence and inspire future developers and junior instructors and transfer your passion and knowledge. If you believe in agile coaching, and want to be part of training programmers into professional consultants, you are the one we are looking for. 

So what will you do?

This is a full-time engagement, and we run 3 programs per year, with a 1 month downtime between each. Material, labs and course structure are already prepared and ready to go - so you don't need to write new material. We would love for you to add any topic you are passionate about, though, and help us keep the Full stack training #1 in Europe. You will work with a team of head instructors, as well as junior instructors that have taken the program, who will help you navigate the material and assist in coaching the developers.

Who are you?

What we are looking for is a developer with years of experience in your field and passionate about teaching and learning by teaching. You don't need to know every bit and piece of the curriculum perfectly beforehand, but feel comfortable learning the other parts well enough to teach it.

What else?

Our focus is APPLIED learning and hence each day is heavy with practice. We teach everything through mob programming (did you see us here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFnMWN7XBks?) which means that your job is often more about coaching the teams for problem solving than instructing them on details.
